Mapped Out calls time on promoting our own events. DJ's Ash & Dave Weller are now proud to be part of the Move On Up Club who run monthly nights in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Ash can also be found out and about DJing at events around the North-East & UK and focusing on our involvement with Underground Groove, North East Soul Union & Radio A Go-Go.

THE CLACTON WEEKENDER

• The third great Clacton Weekender is getting closer and tickets are going out all over the UK. It's not really suprising when you look at the bands headlining this year's event, The Lambrettas and Speakeasy (the band described as a Mod All-stars band featuring Simon Stebbing (Purple Hearts) Buddy Ascot (The Chords), Mark Le Gallez (The Risk & Mic Stoner (Pope). Along with Northampton's Francis Jetty (who've supported the likes of Primal Scream & The Moons), RT3, The E-Types (featuring Marty Street ex Upper Fifth) and Clacton Weekender favourites Mr Bridger it makes this year's terrific line-up! In addition to that this year's event has expanded to take over the entire entertainment complex, with an improved second room - ' The Soul Room' with DJ's Soulful Sally, Mapped Out's very own Ash, Neil Pounds and guest Mark Sargeant (Scootering).
